ERIC FRAMOND – Now And To Morrow (Montparnasse 2000)
Damn.. Eric Framond is really the “weird guy of the band” on the MP2000 family! In term of craziness, Now And To Morrow doesn't disappoint at all, and is very close to the delirium of the classic set Fantasmagories ! Super strange mix of concrete music, free jazz, spy chase OST and others. With the madness loops and sample potential of “Incoherence”, “Locura”, "Cyclone", “Underground”, “Sweet Mind”, the hypnotic bassline of the very crime-jazz-ish “Hysterie” and finaly the very fuzzy Nilovicesque “Play Pop”.
Cover EX / vinyl VG+ (one 30s click on first track, then great)   60€

CECIL WARY – World Faces (MP2000)
A very good patchwork of sound on this very strong release by Cecil Wary. Let's start with “European's Confrontation” a very beaty track a la Arel/Dutour on Chappell. The stand-out track here is the massive “Fugue To Cuba”, with delirious percussions intro and harpsicord a la Ipcress File, a one of the B-Boys! And it goes nicely for the beatheadz till' the end of the wax with the drama De Roubaix sound of “Graves Of Orient” or the dope flute loop of “Incas' Woods”. Highly recommended.
Cover EX / vinyl EX  60€

JANCO NILOVIC – Chorus (MP2000)
One of the rarest Nilovic LP. Cover EX / vinyl EX   60€

JANCO NILOVIC – Pop Impressions (MP2000)
For me the best Nilovic record with Rythmes Contemporains. I could spend hours to tell you all my love about this record. This is not a simple library record, this is an immense concept album, a delirious and ambitious space pop opera. Nilovic is here backed by a complete orchestra, with a jaw dropping string session. We can listen here the genius of the guy with his classical pop approach. The big strings pieces respond to the phat groovy jerk moment, the bizarre sound effects replied to the dope bassline. The fuzz guitar scream, the horns shout...you need to listen this record from start to finish. The best way to appreciate one of the best instrumental pop record ever made! Listen some extracts of this master piece HERE and HERE.

MIKE VICKERS – Brass Plus Moog (KPM)

RON GEESIN – Electrosound (KPM)
I can't resist to write here the liner notes of the record, wrote by Ron Geesin himself: "I present some tunes, untunes, anti-tunes, delightful and undelightful sounds for all sorts of purposes and state that: The pieces herein displayed may be combined with themselves (as much out of sync as possible) to achieve thicker diffuse atmosphere, and playing things at different speeds would not be wrong!"... V/A ARTISTS – Industrial Panorama (KPM)
This great KPM release is a must have for those of you who dig the John Barry sounds. His “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” period to be exact. KPM best soldiers (Keith Mansfield, Johnny Pearson...) bring us some very, very solid cinematic themes. “Danger Man” and “Energy Vibrations” would not be incongruous on a James Bond OST, and “Industrial Power”, “Man With A Mission” and “Jagged” are the dope Hanged Man/Return of Pellam sounds Keith Mansfield is able to perform. English orchestral groove as its best.
Cover EX / vinyl EX-  70€

V/A ARTISTS – Industry (Volume 1) (KPM 1161)
Another top reference if you’re after incredible loop and strange groove. So original, so fresh if you thing of the release year (1975). Check for example the mysterious space funk of “In Motion”, the wah wah rolling groove of “The Journey”, the super nice flute and fender keys of “The Open Road” and of course the devestating bass of “Pulp” already sampled by DJ Spinna. But we would put almost every tracks of the album for the MP3s!
