SECRET LES TRETEAUX JANIN / PIERRIC KILLER COMP! Whoo ! I never thought I could discover a new Les Treteaux release... until my dawg Koni Da Left Handed found this stunning rarity! This is nothing but a compilation of all the tracks Janin / Pierric did and appeared as version orchestrale on the Les Treteaux releases! You have here all the winners not available on the Eddie Driver LP: Red Mood, Waouba, Rolly Polly, Walking Blue, Assez C'est Assez, Swingaboo and an exclusive track as a bonus: Strings In Paradise an its killer intro. Just essential for any fans of the duo Janin/Pierric! Cover EX / vinyl EX 60€ |

PIERRE PORTE Bon Dimanche (Sonopress 1978 repress) Funky orchestral pop at its best. Pierre Porte conducts his orchestra into the land of the best funky themes coming from France . Cinematic strings, brillant horns arrangement and funky rythmics: best examples are the huge musical landscape of It The End between Legrand Les Demoiselles and Colombier Capot Pointu . Ganymede bring some dark strings and wah guitar, and the ethered female chorus really remind La Planete Sauvage or Les Gants Blancs Du Diable . Now quiet hard to locate! Cover EX / vinyl EX 30€ |

V/A Artists Escale Party (Concert Hall) Sooo good to have this one back. One of the first record digged by the frenchattack crew. Nostalgia Anyway, this is an essential piece of French groove, worth the price alone for the soul anthem Hurt So Bad by Nancy Holloway, perfectly orchestrated by Daniel Janin. Contains also the Hammond jerk version of Venus and Mais Non, Mais Non, the delicious bossa scat Bossa Arangua, or the more deeper Mahi, a superb cinematic eastern tune with huge drums and sitar, and finally another favourite of mine, the beautiful Les Calanques, by Claude Vasori, that also can be found on a rare MPI 10 release. Cover EX / vinyl EX 45€ |
