One of our favourite album. The string arrangement and melodies are amongst the best you could find in a 60s french production, and the lyrics are just crazy psych nonsense. It's even more incredible when you think everything was made in the tiny Bernard Estardy CBE studio. The original press is almost impossible to find. It was untimely released in 1968 during the student riots in Paris. Fortunately, Manset got some mainstream success ten years after and EMI released this second press. Essential if you like JC Vannier kind of work!

Killer rare exploito pop, with a totally French casting (ARVANITAS, CECCARRELLI, SANTORIO), recorded in Paris, but curiously released on a small German label. Splendid big band groove in a library kind of way. With the super tracks "Boaf", "Paw", "Gulp" and "Burp". Check the cover art too, one of the best!

Oufff.. “We Love You” really takes you by surprise on this one. As you expect only cheesy orchestral stuff, Guy Pedersen hitting you with that incredible clavecin driven tune with super phat drums.

French press of this fresh Canadian rural pop LP. With music by bass Jazz player RED MITCHELL. With the groovy opener and B-boy breakdown "J'chu Ben gene", the cool intro of "Busy" and the OPEN DRUMS and BONGOS BREAKS of "On S'en Va La".

Original mono biem press, with flipback cover. With "Baby Pop" written by Gainsbour, and "Deux Oiseaux". Light marks on record, plays very good without background noises.

Rare gatefold LP by this band composed of US teens expatriated in France. They did one album, in a Beatles-esque pop rock veine. This one is composed of hits, exclusive tracks, some singles and can be consideered as a second album, rather than a greatest hits.

“Depart De Nuit” is a dope beaty jerk with scat chorus a la Daniel Janin, while “Passage Protégé”, “Evolution A Ciel Ouvert”, “Alpha Appelle Omega” and “Enquete En Fa Majeur” have this typical crime jazz sound a la Tisley Orchestra.
