The Clarke Boland crew in small unit, delivers this mindblowing jazz session. Check the killer eponym track, but the whole record is superb. Original German press. Delaminating and discoloration near the seams of the gatefold cover. Record has a couple of very thin marks, some very minimal surface noises during quiet passages, a great copy overall.
Fantastic '59 session on the mythical New Jazz label. With the deep modal cut "Blues In The Jungle". Rudy Van Gelder recording, monster sound on this one! Original mono press: purple and silver label with RVG stamped on dead wax. Probably played a couple of times only, glossy wax with some insignificant hairlines marks. Cover is in excellent shape and still in original protective shrink.
Super rare first album by this US band expatriated in Germany. Much rarer than their second opus reissued a few years ago. Very good progressive jazz, beautiful stock copy condition.
DEXTER GORDON & SLIDE HAMPTON – A Day In Copenhagen (MPS)
Killer European cast sextet led by two of the most famous american expatriates. With the fantastic jazz piece "A Day In Vienna", sounding a lot like a Rendell Carr standard. Beautiful laminated gatefold cover / French press in archive condition.
JOHN SURMAN / J.WARREN – Tales Of The Algonquin (Deram)
UK modal big band featuring the usual suspects from the British avant garde jazz mafia: Alan Skidmore, Mike Osbourne, John Taylor...Rare French press. Some very light surface noises listenable during quiet passages.
MAL WALDRON & GARY PEACOCK – First Encounter (Explosive)
Another superb modal piece recorded in Japan. Listen to some snippets from the record, this is both artists at the peak of their talent. Rare French press with laminated cover in excellent condition. Record looks unplayed.
Rare LP celebrating the carreer of one of the best jazzman from France. Released few time after Oeil Vision on the same label. Check the sublime modal tune "Chakan". Record has many scuff marks causing very light background noises. Cover has delaminating and discoloration near the seams. Writings and library sticker on back. A very nice copy overall, give-away price!
His best album. The delicate mix of humming scat and double bass groove is somptuous here. With the classic french groove "Les La Bas", discovered on the legendary Sexopolis comp by DJ BNX!
Great and quiet unknown spiritual jazz funk, in the same veine as Black Jazz or Starta East productions. Featuring Harold Vick on sax. Listen to the dark groove of "Inner Crisis", or "Out On The Coast". Original US press. Some wears on cover. Scuff marks on record, great listening.

IDRIS MUHAMMAD – Peace And Rhythm (Reprise)
Original US press of this essential groovy jazz LP from the great Muslim drummer. With "Peace", the cuban jazz "Rhythm", the vocal "Brother You Know You're Doing Wrong" or the afro jazz of "Don't Knock My Love". Some wears on cover.
IDRIS MUHAMMAD – Black Rhythm Revolution! (Prestige)
Another fine album from Idris, probably his rarest under his name, composed of funky jazz threatment of soul classics ("Super Bad", "Express Yourself"..) and more spiritual jazz tune ("Wander"). French press in excellent condition.
One of my favourite Mizell brothers production. With the all time classic "Music Is My Sanctuary" and the other dancefloor bomb "Carnaval De L'esprit". Jazz funk headz know the deal! Superb original US press, some minor scuff marks on record, cover still in shrink.
Obscure crossover band, featuring PEE WEE ELLIS on this LP, the legendary sax from the JB's! With the monster rare groove "Slow Down Sundown" and a couple of great tunes in the same veine. Wears on cover, original gatefold US press.
EBERHARD SCHOENER – Bali Agung (Celestial Harmonies)
This German jazz pianist brought his band to Bali, and they recorded one of the strangest tune I've heard with "Ketjak". The first thing you think about is drum & bass! Quiet an experience! Late US press.
