We offer here a fantastic condition copy of the rarest and most desirable Nathan Davis LP. Recorded in 1965 with a half american / half french casting, this mythical session is a must have to any serious euro jazz collector. Cover has only some very minimal aging stains on back and a couple of very slightly 3mm large bent corners, side tag is missing. Laminating, spine and cover art are intact. Record looks basically unplayed, only a couple of fingerprints (which I don't want to deal with in order to touch the record a minimum) make the difference with a straight from the factory copy.
Totally unknown Guitarist only LP as a leader, and one of my favourite Belgian Jazz record, released in '79 on the Michel Herr (who plays keyboard here) own label. Fabulous spiritual fusion, listen to the moving "Three Days In Paris" or the killer modal "Third Eye". With also the nice latin jazz of "Spanish Flea".
Great Swedish funky jazz, involving Jason Lindh. Hot breaks after hot breaks on this quiet hard to find LP. Check the incredible 6 minutes long "Bluegaloo", with that mindblowing breakdown. Superb copy.
Beautiful original UK press. "Factory Sample" sticker on label. Record is flawless, probably never played. Cover has wears and lightly used corners. Released on the mythical euro jazz LANSDOWNE serie, like Joe Harriott Movement and Rendell Carr Dusk Fire !
Quiet unknown Ensemble Melodya LP with a couple of nice pop/jazz fuzzy groove tune and a a couple of HIP HOP LOOP. Very close to the library style joints of Janco Nilovic.
HANS DULFER The Morning After The Third (EMI Pathé)
Original French press (no reissue here!) of this super deadly dutch jazz LP. A session backed by the incredible band Ritmo Naturel, bringing a real stunning latin flavour to the prog jazz tracks of Hans Dulfer, that just killing it on the sax, with his strange distorded -almost Africanesque- sax play. With the monster eponym tune, "Senor Steve", "Green Mountain", and my favourite one, "Dit Is Het Begin", with a fabulous sax solo breakdown by Hans Dulfer, that would just set your dancefloor on fire! Record and cover in untouched condition.
Super rare first album by this US band expatriated in Germany. Much rarer than their second opus reissued a few years ago. Very good progressive jazz, beautiful stock copy condition.
MAL WALDRON & GARY PEACOCK First Encounter (Explosive)
Another superb modal piece recorded in Japan. Listen to some snippets from the record, this is both artists at the peak of their talent. Rare French press with laminated cover in excellent condition. Record looks unplayed.
Incredible jazz session written during a jazz festival in Africa, the first time Moncur came in the mother land. Based on a two notes piano theme by Dave Burrell, "New Africa" is a stunning journey into rhythm. The deep, melancolic and captivating "Space Spy", "Exploration"and "When" confirms this LP as one of the best in the label.
Half of the tracks here are written by Carla Bley or Annette Peacock. But my favourite here is the Paul Bley own composition Mazatalon.

ARCHIE SHEPP Yasmina, A Black Woman (Byg Actuel 4)
"Yasmina" begins with that stunning modal bass, then the piano theme (incredible Dave Burrell performance at the end!), and the horns that killing you. The Art Ensemble Of Chicago personnel strikes again. Of course Mister Shepp solo are the cherry on the cake...
A beautiful piece of music. Sonny Murray is coming with the ART ENSEMBLE OF CHICAGO members, plus Archie Shepp and Alan Silva. The long spiritual "Suns Of Africa", with the delicate hypnotic chant of Jeanne Lee is blessing the first side. 15 minutes of cosmic jazz a la Pharaoh Sanders. On Bside "RIP" is based on a rhythmic loop led by the horns... intense!
