I can't remember to have ever seen this lib before! The Creasound crew goes in the disco funk field. My favourites here are the crazy electroacoustic funk "Disco Ooh", the dramatic KPM style disco "Philadelphia Speed", "Disco Fever", sounding more like a euro funk classic, or "Walk On". Rare! For me the best Nilovic record with Rythmes Contemporains. I could spend hours to tell you all my love about this record. This is not a simple library record, this is an immense concept album, a delirious and ambitious space pop opera. Nilovic is here backed by a complete orchestra, with a jaw dropping string session. We can listen here the genius of the guy with his classical pop approach. The big strings pieces respond to the phat groovy jerk moment, the bizarre sound effects replied to the dope bassline. The fuzz guitar scream, the horns shout...you need to listen this record from start to finish. The best way to appreciate one of the best instrumental pop record ever made! Superb crime jazz / spy game set by the KPM crew. I love the swing of "Motion Underscore", while "Flute In Motion" does it too. On the sample side, check the dope piano / percussion duet of "Incidental Backcloth N°1" and the phat loopable intro of "Incidental Backcloth N°3". On Bside, "Transit To Rendez vous N°1" and "N°2" are another sampler faves. This LP is a great jazz listenning overall!
