THE NORMAN HAINES BAND - Den Of Iniquity (EMI Odeon C062 04818)
You have here one of the true holy grail of the UK psych scene. Last OG UK copy of this record went for the insane price of 800 pounds on ebay. This copy I offer here is the original french press. Record is in pristine condition, both cover and record. Your chance to grab for cheap a copy of this heavy psych masterpiece, produced by PETE BROWN in the mythical Abbey Road studio!
MASTER'S APPRENTICES - A Toast To Paname Red (EMI Regal)
Fantastic Australian Psych band, led by the monster guitar play of Doug Ford. Very heavy psych music recorded by Pete Brown in ABBEY ROAD. Known to be their most wanted LP, and ranked amongst the rarest of Australian records. We propose here the original french press of this record, released by Regal Zonophone. Despite the like-new condition, this is a guaranteed original issue!
One of my favourite psych LP of the moment. Incredibly good music with attitude (every tracks is introduced by a Timothy Leary text), great musicianship, brillant vocals, politicaly involved... Listen to "Blood Of My Fathers" as a perfect example. I love the sax play too, it brings a sort of jazz feeling to it, in the veine as jazz prog LP like Sunbirds. And the whole record goes like this as you can hear on the extracts. Killer record! Rare French press, not a reissue, in superb condition.
NINE DAYS WONDER - S/T (Bacilius Records C064 92740)
Rare french press of this German psych oddity. Loud 'n' heavy guitar, FXed voices and other usual psych tricks at the fullest. Originaly release on Bacilius, this is the french press on the same label. Beautiful stock copy.
German press of the second LP of the band, much rarer than Just A Poke. More hippie than hard psych, with some jazz and folk elements too! Listen to the beautiful jazz prog "Darkness To Light", a long piece with killer sax and keyboard solos.
Brillant psych LP from UK. Check the fantastic horns section, that almost sounds like a funk band one, and the constantly groovy attitude of the band. Worth a serious listen if you're after unknown psychedelic heavy-on-the-organ music! OG french press in beautiful condition. No reissue here!
