Considered by many (including me!) as the best LP by Marc Moulin / Placebo, this second album totally justifies the hype over it. From the first track to the last, this is nothing but fantastic melodies, incredible drums patterns, subtle horns arrangement...and of course the genius play of Marc Moulin on keyboards. No jazz band from europ ever reach that level of... CLICK TO READ MORE
Almost perfect copy of this fantastic jazz prog monster. The all-star casting (Philip Catherine, Klaus Weiss, Fritz Pauer..) produces an intense blend of Canterbury prog, jazz funk, Krautrock and even repetitive music that will haunt you for a while. Once again this copy is very close to perfection, both record and cover.
Monster German jazz funk! The second album from the cult KLAUS WEISS and Udo Lindenberg band. Deadly session of groovy jazz from start to finish, with a HUGE accent on percussions. Needless to quote tracks here, the whole LP is a slaugthery! Essential in any euro jazz collection.
The SUNBIRDS pianist released this nice Jazz trio LP in '79. With the killer bossa jazz "Terra Samba".
Incredible experimental jazz session by the excellent Mister Dauner. Listen to the mindblowing "Nothing To Declare". Heavy delaminating on back and front of the cover, worn seams and corners. Record plays great.
Sleeveless copy of this killer Belgian jazz funk combo led by MICHEL HERR. This is the second press on B.Sharp, which is as rare as the first one on Best Seller.
Obscure private Swiss jazz LP, with the beautiful deep spiritual tune "For Ryo".
Super obscure Swedish jazz band, delivering a mindblowing session of spiritual jazz in a Coltranesque way. Listen to "Sabba Abbas Mandlar" and "Aalborg".
Great Dutch jazz funk plenty of breaks and grooves. Listen to "Streetrondo", "Blue Windmill", or the very Placebo-esque "Peacemaker"
Killer jazz funk LP featuring Bruno Castellucci (PLACEBO) on drums. Check the intro break on "One For You". This is the rarer Belgian press on RKM.
Superb piece of vocal jazz recorded in London, on a French label. With the bossa jazz scat "Phil's Bossa".
1st SABA press LP of this superb meeting between western jazzmen (BARNEY WILEN, MANFRED SCHOOF...) and Indian folk musicians. This is the 7th volume of the cult JAZZ MEETS WORLD serie. Discreet tape bands around the opening seams, otherwise flawless. Some very light mold stains inside gatefold. The stiched inner booklet is in great shape, as well as the record.
Excellent Piccioni score for this Mafia flick. Superb and sweet groovy jazz like the Italian are capable of. Listen to "Conjectures" or "Sad Tales".
Here's the Holy grail of German jazz scat! My second spare copy for years...Deadly jazz dancers from the beginning to the end, with that so trendy late 70's, spacy feeling on it. Check the massive tracks "Mato Pato", "New Morning" or... CLICK TO READ MORE
One of the most interesting combo from Belgium, led by Daniel Schell and produced my MARC MOULIN. This is their second album, and the jazz basis gets twisted - or even totally removed - by some weird rhythmics, furious psych guitar and electronic production. The result sounds more like Sam' Suffy than Balls Of Eyes, with an even more experimental approach. Listen to... CLICK TO READ MORE
At last another copy of this killer record...still totally unknown except to the few customers I sold a copy some years ago. The listening of this record made some jaw dropping believe me: the main track is a terrific scat jazz dancer that makes Barbara Moore sound soft. The bonus is another great one with this time some male scat. What a great record!
Part of the SABA "Jazz Meets The World" serie, Pedro Iturralde jazz quintet meets Paco De Lucia, flamenco guitar player. The result is just mind-blowing. The richness of the Spanish folklore meets the best of the euro hard bop sound. Listen to "Cancion Del Fuego Fatio" as a taster. Original 1st Saba press in unplayed condition.
Quiet obscure German jazz on the small Dortmund label. Very nice fusion in the SUNBIRDS veine. Listen to "Hazy Dawn" and "Head Over Heels"
It's been so long since I listened to this record...So many years but the superb orchestration and voices harmony still work for me. This is the quintessence of the eastern europ vocal jazz, easily the best LP by the Novi Singers, with killer groove orchestration by Jan Wroblewski. Listen to "Torpedo"... CLICK TO READ MORE
Super obscure private Belgian jazz, featuring the dark bongo-led "W&W".
