Fantastic prog LP with music as good as the cover art would let you think. Joel VANDROOGENBROECK (who later would produce some nice cosmic libraries under the alias Joel VDB) is on command of this fulgurant journey into his own deviant brain. Long spacy progressive track with hypotic bass and drums patterns, only disrupted by killer solos of guitar and organ. An essential... CLICK TO READ MORE
Super obscure Mexican psych band. Brillant mix of ethnic influence and progressive rock. Listen to the killer tune "Despues De La Muerte".
Obscure Krautrock band. Listen to the monster fuzzy devilish track "Nosferatu". For your satanic DJ set!
Killer Dutch horrific psych LP! Listen to "Heksen Sabbath". Both booklet and extra 7" are missing.
Oh my...what a discovery. Here's a super obscure Turkish orchestra LP with a brillant dancefloor groove. Frenetic percussions, hypnotic bassline with over it some insane solos of spooky Turkish keyboards, snake charming flute and vibraphone. Set your dancefloor on fire!
Japanese band. Check the great funky rock version of "Superstition", with a good open drum break intro, and another good one of "Cisco Kid". Comes with the insert.
Fantastic concept album made by Sheller for the wedding of a couple of friends. With the famous "Introit", its killer phasing breaks and gigantic string ensemble. Second press, with tape bands on seams. A couple of superficial marks on record.
In-demand spacy, dreamy prog by VANGELIS on disguise. Tracklisted by Finders Keepers on their BYG compilation. Cover is dirty but does come with the side tag, not visible on the picture.
Killer psych prog from Japan. Check the eponym track with breaks, electric guitar a la David Axelrod and female chore, for like 10 minutes of growing climax. Superb copy coming with OBI and insert.
A cover can't be more misleading than this one! As you expect cheesy orchestra music, you finally receive the rawest, dopest and wildest psychedelic groove you could imagine right into your innoncent ears. Stomping breaks, haunting spooky organ sounds and wet swampy basslines from the very beginning to the last groove, completed with some strange sci fi sounds and stereo... CLICK TO READ MORE
Super rare single taken from the Massiera hard rock masterpiece. You know you will go to every directions in the same minute with JPM: this is exactly what happens with his version of "Dies Irae", as you jump from hard psych, to religious music, cosmic sound and some breakbeats for the hip hop heads... Early Abranis single (their first?) that set the tone for what their known for. "Athedjaladde" mixes arabic music and pop with a great result. Killer hypnotic groove with the so catchy Kabil vocals on both side, with always that strong and rough rock background. Rare!
Monster crossover afro psych funk coming from Madagascar. "Soul Sabattah" is an hypnotic slice of groove with demented guitar solo and that spooky drums breakdown at the end. Surely a one to be trainspotted as soon as you drop it at the party. Ultra obscure and probably very rare.
Massiera at its most disturbing psychedelism. Cult 7" by the Maledictus Sound with tape band sampling, huge bassline and horror movie mood. Don't try to throw "Cambronne" at a wedding party, except if you hate the bride... Some backing noises here and there.
Another massive Frenchattack classic. Well...my first copy for ages. "Funky Axe" of course, this loud fuzzy bass and funky drums are so hypnotic. A great tool for DJ's and producers. Alternative French cover.
Catchy French trippy 7" full of phased drums, fuzz guitar and groovy bass. Rare!
Killer canterbury style jazz prog out of Holland. Great breaks and loops! Original French press in stock copy condition.
Ultra rare Danish psych prog LP originaly released on Sonet. The guy on the fender rhodes is quiet good, brillant vocals, some jazz influences, some groovy moments as well. In the same line as Zoo, Caravan or Pete Brown! Original french press in ultra clean condition, not a reissue!
More psych madness with that incredible album, originaly released in UK and consideered as a holy grail reaching more than 300 euros on the collector circuit. Its reputation is not overated, the listening is a crazy experience, it goes in every direction with lot of LSD-ish sound FX, killer organ groove, tape manipulation, changes of band speed etc.. ! Original french... CLICK TO READ MORE
One of my favourite psych LP of the moment. Incredibly good music with attitude (every tracks is introduced by a Timothy Leary text), great musicianship, brillant vocals, politicaly involved... Listen to "Blood Of My Fathers" as a perfect example. I love the sax play too, it brings a sort of jazz feeling to it, in the veine as jazz prog LP like Sunbirds. And the whole... CLICK TO READ MORE
