Classic Schifrin score. One of his coolest. Several classy big band jazz cuts with always that strong groove. Very nice french press.
Great Magne score for this delirious Jean Yanne movie. With the two killer tracks "Superchic Genial" and "Petrole Pop".
Dark scary synthesizer sound, with horrific sound FX and dialogues.
Quiet unknown concept album by the master of soundtracks. Check "Secret Code" or "Vaccinated Mushrooms".
Super rare Bollywood soundtrack, totally under the radar for now! Too many killer cuts and sampleable moments on this one, ranging from moogy proto disco to strings and beats in a typical Bolly way. Stock copy condition (can you believe that from an Indian record??) Just listen the soundclip...and don't hesitate too much!
Great compilation of classic TV cop show themes (Shaft, Kojak...). With astounding versions of "Quiller" (with huge breaks intro) and "Starsky And Hutch".
One of the best soundtrack by Francis Lai. Check "Rapt", with its killer INTRO BREAK. Superb copy.
Rare Japanese press with alternative cover of the classic Schifrin score. I forgot how good this soundtrack is until I was about to review it: listen to the killer "Hotel Daniels", "On The Way To San Mateo", "Ice Pick Mike", "A Song For Cathy",... CLICK TO READ MORE
Killer Morricone score with the monster fuzzy beat of "Svolta Definitiva". One of my favourite cover art too. Very nice copy.
Excellent Piccioni score for this Mafia flick. Superb and sweet groovy jazz like the Italian are capable of. Listen to "Conjectures" or "Sad Tales".
Brillant Cosma soundtrack for a French ballet, and one of the most in demand Cosma item. Sublime and complex avant garde pop in a David Axelrod veine. Listen to "Mascarade Diabolique" or "Crime Et Chatoiement".
Nice soundtrack for this cult erotic movie, ranging from groove to bossa nova. Super alternative cover art for this French press.
Hard to find soundtrack for one of my favourite manga! For those who don't know Golgo, he's like a mix between Agent 47 for the efficiency and James Bond for the cool attitude. The soundtrack is a story tell-like record with some musical skits here and there. This record is a sampler goldmine with all the sound FX, dialogues and groovy music in it. Comes with the OBI and... '74 compilation of Japanese TV series, featuring Mazinga (Goldorack for the French), Kamenrider, Ultraman...The cool flexi red wax disc is composed of groovy themes sung in Japanese. Super nice item for the Japanese OST collectors as the pre-1975 TV series soundtracks are very hard to find, even in Japan.
Here's a French soundtrack that still largely under the radar. Like La Planete Sauvage OST? Well, Alain Goraguer keeps here that nasty, filthy groove with tons of sampling opportunities. This one will probably grows and grows on price as soon as people realize how good it is. Get it!
Gigantic piece of groove by the Gainsbourg/Colombier team. "Requiem Pour Un Con" and "Psychastenie"? It can't be better than this if you deal with breaks, insane proto ego-trip lyrics, or groovy bass and sitar on Bside. More than essential!
Underrated and still under the radar soundtrack EP, with the killer jazz dance "Mirella". Test press.
Nice Morricone set, featuring the frenetic psychedelic groove of "Nadine". French press.
Classic bossa groove from France, with the famous Zamfir theme transformed in a crazy battucada. With also "Gymkana" and "La Bossa Des Tueurs". Small tear on the bottom of the opening edge.
In demand! For me much better than his more well known Un Soir Chez Norris OST, the "Crise" theme is a monster psych funk tune with uptempo funky drums and bongos, trippy flute, reverbed FX, and of course smashing fuzzy guitar solos by mister Cavalli himself. Hot hot hot on the dancefloor. Cut top right corner.
